Having fun in my workshop this week
I didn’t have to much time to write this week because I have been focus working in my last project Felt owls.. I have made different kinds , colors, sizes and this is the last production… in 2 days I made 12 owls.. oh my God !!! Really good, also I have received nice comments for friends from facebook, I think I will keep myself making owls for my store !
I am planning to stop production for a while to focus in some personal stuff but at the same time I am planning to write more articles and tutorials for my blog because I realized that I can help some of my fiends giving some advice about Etsy and how to use Internet as a good tool to promote your store… Also I continue making treasures for my little facebook group: Etsy Treasure Lover, so far we have made almost 50 treasures !!! I am having so much fun with this group because more and more people is join us.

An ugly day
Yesterday I didn’t feel good… It was apparently a good day, I woke up as usual, took my breakfast, checked my facebook, my email , my store… then I start feeling sad and frustrated , tired… I have been working really hard in my store, trying to put everything nice and clear… It is hard to start again, take time and patience (something I don’t have sometimes) … then I decided to make something different… I took a Fedex Box, I cut it in pieces and I made this two pieces.. Then I remembered Andrea’s Interview … when I asked :

I honestly started this style of art after taking an online class with Suzi Blu.
I had no clue about Suzi Blu. I am new in this Mixed Media technique… forgive my ignorance … I Google it and it was like open a big window !! wow she is not only good … she is so INSPIRATIONAL …

Lovely Interview with Andrea Tiffany !!!
Since I interviewed Juliette Crane, I fell in love with Mixed media.. I had been reading and making research about this lovely technique, Then I discovered Andrea Tiffany and I fell in love with her art. I love the colors, the shapes, their eyes !! everything. 1. Tell me a bit about yourself
I am a self-taught artist currently living in Northern Kentucky. I started creating my art in watercolor, but when I discovered mixed media I really fell in love. I am addicted to scrapbooking, learning to combine my printed paper passion with paint and pencil gave me an opportunity to create my vision. Most of my art is created around girls of all kinds. I love to create them as angels, fairies and just whimsical little girls who will make you smile. I grew up in the "southend" of Louisville KY, hence the name "Southend Girls"

A happy sewing Felted Owls day today !
Today was a great day, I worked all day in my new Owl design. I am trying as a good technique to organize my time to focus in only one thing at the time.. sometimes my soul and my mind fly too much and I can’t reach them :) I need to feel myself more engage with my projects without losing my north. It is really difficult to me to keep track of a lot of my own ideas, but I am improving my time management skills. This week I decided to make this owl project, the first item for a bigger project that I have in mind. It has been an enjoyable process.
This owl is based in my own Owl illustration, I have nice plans for this little toy ! I am not sure about my stitch (As I said I am not great sewing but at least I tried) … For me a great design is the resoult of having 25% of talent and 75% of effort.
On the other hand, today I was included in a nice treasure made by: Meltem Akkaraca Semizoğlu.
