Maria Palito is Back

Hi Every Body! Finally I am back… I took a couple weeks off and I am finally back… I needed a break for my family and for myself… But now I am coming back full of energy and new projects (as always)… I am also finishing some old and unfinished projects… Putting everything together.

I will restart my Interview section and free promotion for my blog friends. I am always open to new ideas. My last interview was with my friend Juliette Crane. I loved that interview…

Maria Palito is on Vacations!!!

Hi my friends! I am temporarily closing my shop to take some time off. I will be back soon, in a couple weeks.  I will be gone for a while, sharing some time with my family, recharging energies.

I am sad because I had to put my etsy store on vacations but I can’t take the risk of sell something and not be able to mail it because I am not at home. I think this time off will be very good for me and I will comeback with new ideas, projects and energies !

I scheduled some posts for the next week, I will miss my blog and all the comments that I receive every day. But I will answer everything once I come back!!  See You soon!!!

Looking for ETSY shops to feature: Promoting Artists

I am currently looking for new etsy shops to feature

Yesterday, I received an email asking me how to get promoted in my blog. I am always happy to promote people from the craft community, but for everything there are rules and I have my own parameters to promote people in my blog. I would love to have more time to make tons of post about creative people, but I can’t.

Right now I am currently publishing a post for my “THE BEST IN FLICKR TODAY” section and in that section I choose a very nice picture and I publish it in my blog and make a small reference about the artist.

I try to choose a picture suitable with my blog style, but I don’t have any commercial relationship with those artists. I only want to promote talented people !

I am thinking about a new section: “The best in Etsy Today” in that section I want to promote 1 etsy store at the time or some Etsy nice items..

If you want to be consider as one of the possible stores to be promoted in the new section: “The Best in Etsy Today” you have to let me know in a comment with your name and Etsy Store.

Re-design : New Banner for Maria Palito

Today is a great day, Maria Palito Blog has a new banner !! and I love it. It is smaller for those with small screen, has a new doll, New Sections in the Mailbox and a nice “social media” bar.

Social Media 101: Learning guide for Bloggers and Etsy Sellers

In my last post ” 5 most common mistakes in managing a blog “ one of the 5 points was connectivity. If you are a blogger or a Etsy seller this is really important because it can make difference in your business. Do not make people guess or try to find your website or your social media profiles. Give them all the tools to follow you. Do not isolate your blog, website, etsy store.. Get connected !!! Use the tools !!

I am really concern about this point because it is painful to see people who aren’t taking advantage of all their potential. I would love to have the power to make suggestions ( I only can do it with my friends because I do not want to be intrusive).  if somebody out there want me to give suggestions about a particular site, blog or etsy store,let me know I will be happy to help you!.
