I am designing the second collection of Handmade Eco-friendly jewelry. Last year’s Jewelry collection is gone. I am designing new pieces with new techniques. Calling all Columbia area kids and their families! Join us for DIA (Diversity in Action)-a free, fun-filled festival celebrating children and culture through books. Enter the Storybook House or “Casa de Cuentos” for an afternoon of adventure. Your children will participate in interactive storytelling in English and Spanish, as well as dancing, music, crafts and food from many different cultures. It will take place on April 24th from 1-4pm at the Keenan House in Columbia, SC (801 Wildwood Ave. Columbia, SC 29203). I am exploring new techniques for my Handmade Jewelry line. I felted a big lot of felt balls, really good even though I pinched my fingers a couple times. Those felt balls were made combining wet and dry felting. This bracelet is made with felted balls, acai seeds and wood seeds.
As I write in my last post we had had a lot of orders and I needed to finish 10 sets (necklaces and earrings), I am exhausted. But now I can sit in my favorite chair, drink a big glass of Ice Te and relax. I love this necklace, green is one of my favorite colors. This handmade necklace was made for a friend who wants to wear it for a party next week. 
This 100% Handmade Necklace is made with tagua seeds, wood beads and cord. This vibrant Orange is a pretty color for summer !!! This set is available in maria Palito‘s website. Wearing eco-friendly jewelry is a good way to look good and help to our planet. I will be working very hard to finish this collection. We had had a lot of orders lately!!
